My focus is on photography. I'd describe my style as photojournalistic but not full-on photojournalism. Candid yet artistic.
I have experience with both film and digital SLRs, and I've worked in a black and white darkroom.
I have extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Lightroom.
I have had exposure to photojournalism, both in class and in practice. I have also been trained on studio lighting and commercial-style photography.
I grew up on the Windows platform and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
I am experienced in other Adobe software, including Dreamweaver, InDesign, Premiere, and Acrobat.
I've recently started working with the Mac OS and with Adobe Illustrator.
I have experience with web design (HTML and CSS, with a little php, javascript, and WordPress exposure).
I have experience writing news articles, both for print and online (including interviewing experience). I am also experienced in writing and distributing press releases.
I love statistics. Even though my academic focus is now on Communications, I'll always have a passion for statistics.
I have classroom exposure to the SAS and SPSS software packages.
I have studied both theoretical and applied statistics, as well as calculus, probability, and macro/microeconomics.
I pride myself on my quick wit, positive attitude, and ability to easily adapt and learn new things.
