The symbol is the Greek letter Phi (pronounced Fee, as in Fee Fie Foe Fum).
So why is Phi so important?
Phi represents the number 1.618...
This number/symbol is known as the Golden Ratio.
This golden ratio is important in both mathematics and in art/architecture/other visual things...both of my passions!
As such, it's become my favorite number/symbol/etc and what I've decided is the visual representation of me--not to mention it can kind of look like a tree, which is Green, like my name!
